SCORM & xAPI development that just works

Content is only useful once your LMS can launch it, track it and report on it. We package courses to the right standard, SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI or cmi5, and test them until completion, scores, bookmarking and resume all behave on your platform.

What We Implement

Tracking capabilities

Beyond picking a standard, we build the tracking logic your reporting actually depends on.

imsmanifest.xml
<organization>
masteryscore="80"
completionThreshold="1.0"
objectiveId="module_03"
<adlcp:timeLimitAction>
</organization>

Manifest & Packaging

Correct imsmanifest, launch parameters, and packaging so your LMS ingests the course cleanly the first time, no broken uploads.

Completion Rules

Time-based, score-based, sequential or hybrid logic, defined exactly the way your reporting needs to count a course as done.

Assessment Capture

Quiz responses, scoring, interaction counts and time on task, including branching logic that affects the final score.

Bookmark & Resume

Learners leave and return exactly where they stopped, with suspend-data handling that survives session drops and device switches.

Custom Tracking Logic

Custom objectives, custom data fields and complex conditions, tailored to the exact metrics your L&D team reports on.

Fixes & Migration

Broken SCORM packages repaired, Flash-to-HTML5 migration, and content moved cleanly between standards without losing tracking history.

Development Journey

Our Process

From assessment to deployment.

01

Platform Assessment

We confirm your LMS, version, and custom configurations. SCORM 1.2? SCORM 2004? xAPI?

02

Tracking Scope

We define what data must be captured and how it needs to integrate with your LMS.

03

Implementation

Standards compliance built in: the right manifest, proper LMS communication code, correct data structures.

04

Local Testing

We test in our own LMS instance before handoff. Course launches, tracks, and scores correctly.

05

Platform Testing

We test on your actual LMS, your configuration, your version, and fix any platform-specific quirks.

06

Go-Live Support

We're available during your launch. If something breaks, we fix it immediately.

Frequently Asked

SCORM & xAPI FAQs

What is the difference between SCORM and xAPI?

SCORM tracks completion, scores, and time within an LMS. xAPI (Tin Can) tracks any learning experience, including mobile learning, simulations, on-the-job activities, and game-based learning, across multiple platforms. We help you choose the right standard for your ecosystem.

Which SCORM version should I use?

SCORM 1.2 has the widest LMS compatibility. SCORM 2004 adds sequencing and more detailed reporting. If your LMS supports both, we recommend 2004 4th Edition. For advanced tracking needs, consider xAPI instead.

Can you make our existing content SCORM-compliant?

Yes. We can wrap existing HTML5 content, videos, PDFs, and presentations in SCORM or xAPI packages. We also fix broken SCORM packages, resolve LMS compatibility issues, and migrate content between standards.

Do you test SCORM packages on our LMS before delivery?

Yes. We test on SCORM Cloud (the industry reference) and can also test on your specific LMS. We ensure completion tracking, score reporting, bookmarking, and resume functionality all work correctly before final delivery.

What is cmi5 and should I care about it?

cmi5 combines the best of SCORM and xAPI: structured LMS launching with flexible xAPI tracking. It's gaining adoption but isn't universal yet. If you're planning a modern learning ecosystem, we can build cmi5-compliant content alongside your custom eLearning modules.
